Zoom2 Whitening - Quicker Whiter Teeth

We are very pleased and proud to offer our patients the newest generation of the world’s leading whitening system. Zoom2 is the fastest, most comfortable and most effective whitening system ever. It is 33% faster than its predecessor, with 67% less sensitivity. In just 120 minutes your teeth will be dramatically whiter. This  procedure is ideal for anyone looking for immediate results and its convenience makes it the perfect choice for the busy individual.

The Zoom2 procedure is simple.

It begins with a preparation to isolate your lips and gums. We then apply the special Zoom2 gel with  Amorphous Calcium Phosphate (ACP)  technology which is activated by the Precision Light Guide System, for a total of 45 minutes. A five minute fluoride treatment completes the procedure.

You will be amazed by the results!   In many cases the teeth continue to get lighter in the first few days after the procedure.  Teeth typically become at least  6 to 10 shades lighter.
How long do the results last?

By following some simple post-whitening care instructions your teeth will always be lighter than they were before. To keep your teeth looking their best we recommend flossing, brushing twice daily, regular dental cleanings and an occasional touch-up  with our take-home whitening gel.  We have a professional formula product specifically designed to keep your teeth their brightest.  The gel is only available through dentists.
Are there any side effects to Zoom2 whitening?

Some people can experience temporary tooth sensitivity after the Zoom2 whitening procedure  but it usually mild and subsides within 24 hours.

Is whitening safe?

Yes. Extensive research and clinical studies indicate that whitening under the supervision of a dental professional is safe.  As with any tooth whitening product, Zoom2 is not recommended for children under the age of 13 years of age or for pregnant or lactating women, light sensitive individuals, patients receiving radiation treatment or taking chemotherapeutic drugs or patients with melanoma, diabetes or heart conditions.
What causes tooth discolouration?

There are many causes including lifestyle, the aging process and the consumption of staining substances such as tea, coffee, tobacco, red wine etc. During tooth formation consumption of tetracycline, certain antibiotics or excessive fluoride may also cause discolouration.

As with any whitening product Zoom 2 is not intended to lighten artificial teeth, crowns, veneers  porcelain, composite or other restorative materials. Ideally patients should be of good health and free of decay or calculus.
Do many people whiten their teeth?

More people whiten their teeth than you would imagine.  A bright sparkling smile can make a big difference for everyone.  Your smile is important. It’s the first thing you notice when you meet some.
